Biography

Joshua Lowe was born in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, in Travelers Rest, South Carolina.
He was raised in a land of fast running rivers, white pine forests and endless waterfalls.
From Joshua's remote upbringing in this rural area, he developed a curiosity of the outside world ;
a thirst for news of other cultures, how his own country performed on the world stage, and a love
of the foreign strains of unusual instruments and the vocalizations of other languages.

Joshua's music reflects the passions of his experiences, his proud military ancestors
who came from the lochs of Scotland and from the indigeneous people of his own mountains - the Cherokee.
His musical influences, growing up in the 1980's and '90's, are Tool, The Beattles, Trent Reznor,
Johnny Cash, Radiohead, Nirvana, Don McClean, Lynard Skynard, and others.
His rock/folk tunes come effortlessly in layers of guitar, bass and violin.
